Short email. Lots of change but nothing too crazy. I left Bainbridge after like 7 months. I am now opening a new area in Dothan Alabama.
A brand new ward just opened here so we have been assigned to it.
I am also training a new missionary, Elder Kupu. He is from Taylorsville but he's Tongan, so everybody asks where his people are from. And it kills me every time he says “Taylorsville, Utah”.
He has been awesome. He is super “go with the flow.” Which is needed because I, myself, am still figuring out this new area, ward, and district. Plus I have been sick as a dog throughout this whole experience. So he has been super easy.
1 funny thing about him though is his favorite restaurant is Carl's Junior (psychopath.) Well out here it's been renamed to “Hardees”. That blew his mind. So I keep saying things like “wait until you see what they did to Taco Bell, or Wendy's, or Walmart” (literally nothings different about them). He doesn't completely trust me anymore but it's chill. We get along.
We are just working on building a teaching pool right now. So there's not many crazy stories. Best part of the week is when we go to this members and just do renovations on a house he bought with the other missionaries in Dothan.
Pray that we find some more people to teach. Until next time.
